If we want to build a liveable future when faced with challenges of this scale, history teaches us that we need powerful grassroots campaigns. But time after time, campaigns dissipate just as they are building momentum. Why?

Campaigns are normally run by a small group of dedicated activists. Once they gain traction, thousands of people sign up as supporters. Each supporter needs to be contacted. Each supporter needs to be trained. Actions need to be planned and executed.

What starts as a small campaign becomes a full-time job. Activists get overwhelmed and burn out. The campaign diffuses, and vested interests breathe a sigh of relief.

What if it doesn’t have to be like this?

Catalyst is an activist management tool which helps campaigns realize their potential. It is built by activists, for activists, incorporating years of learnings from community organizing to ensure that campaigns maximize their growth by converting passive supporters into trained activists.

It guides organizers at all levels through recruitment and onboarding, streamlines training processes and reduces the administrative burden. 

Coming out of a stress-testing phase with our first adopters, we are now expanding to more users and developing Catalyst 2.0. This will establish our market position as the go-to activist management system for momentum-driven activist groups with heightened security needs. We aim to get 50,000 activists onto the streets in 2025.

To meet that goal, we need to expand our developers’ team and are therefore currently raising funds. Since Catalyst increases conversion rates, reduces dropout rates, and eliminates the need for maintenance of in-house systems, every dollar spent on Catalyst has ripple effects throughout the activist ecosystem, boosting campaigns around the world to achieve their demands.
