Philip Deutch

Philip Deutch is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in energy transition and technology sectors. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Energy Transition at NGP Energy Capital Management, L.L.C. since January 2021, Deutch is also the Founder and Managing Partner of NGP Energy Technology Partners, a position held since 2005. Additional roles include Managing Partner at Oasis Investment Partners, Board Partner at Social Capital LP, and Board Observer at Autonomic, among others. Deutch's influence extends through various advisory and board positions in organizations such as Black Bay Energy Capital, Catapult Energy Services Group LLC, and TPI Composites, Inc. Deutch holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA in Economics from Amherst College.
