Daan de Lange

Daan de Lange has a diverse and extensive work experience. Daan started their career as an Account Strategist at Wazooky & Urbanology, where they managed Google Adwords campaigns and improved Search Engine Optimization for key accounts. Daan then founded their own company, The Adgency, where they provided Search Engine Marketing services to small and medium businesses.

Later, Daan joined RTL, where they held various roles including Marketing Manager, Distribution Manager, Team Lead for Video on Demand, and finally as the General Manager for Video on Demand. During their time at RTL, they shaped the company's video-on-demand strategy and led the development of RTL XL, the leading TV video-on-demand service in the Netherlands. Daan successfully expanded its availability, increased viewership, and diversified revenue streams.

After RTL, Daan joined Uber as the Head of Marketing EMEA for Uber Eats. Daan played a crucial role in scaling Uber Eats from 3 to over 15 countries in the EMEA region. As the leader of the Marketing Teams across different geographies, they successfully launched Uber Eats in well-established food delivery markets and grew the food delivery category as the market leader.

Daan's most recent role is with Catawiki as the VP of Marketing. Daan is part of the extended management team and is responsible for driving GMV growth across all global markets. Daan has built an organization across various departments and reports directly to the CEO.

Daan de Lange attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bsc. degree in Marketing and Economics. In 2014, they pursued further education at INSEAD, completing the Bertelsmann University's Strategy & Leadership Programme. In 2018, Daan de Lange attended the Uber Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, specializing in Strategy & Leadership.
