Sonia Teixeira

Sonia Teixeira is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in graphic design, branding, and education. Currently serving as a Certified Groove Method Facilitator at sonjagroove since July 2023, Sonia also holds the position of Creative Director and Visual Design Consultant at sonjadesign, a role initiated in March 2000. With a significant history in various leadership roles including Senior Art Director at Clarivate Analytics and Thomson Reuters, Sonia has been instrumental in shaping brand identities for global companies and mentoring emerging designers. Additionally, contributions as a volunteer Graphic Designer with Catchafire and as an Adjunct Faculty member at both Boston University and Bunker Hill Community College reflect dedication to advancing design education and supporting nonprofit missions. Sonia holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Boston University and multiple degrees in design and communication.
