Elizabeth Nuñez Martin currently serves as an Attorney at the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) since June 2023. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Senior Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), where efforts focused on protecting unaccompanied refugee and migrant children. From November 2015 to October 2021, Elizabeth was a Senior Attorney for the Unaccompanied Children Program at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, leading client advocacy and managing over 50 immigration cases. Early career experiences include roles as a Law Clerk at Kalita Law Group, where Elizabeth drafted legal documents, and as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow with the Texas Civil Rights Project, focusing on ADA compliance. Elizabeth earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and holds dual bachelor's degrees in International Studies and Political Science from Louisiana State University.
