Mohammad Ismail Hossion has extensive work experience in operations, supply chain management, and commercial roles. Mohammad Ismail started their career at BASIC Bank Ltd as an Internship Trainee in 2001. Mohammad Ismail then worked at Merdian Foods Limited as a Commercial Assistant and later as a Commercial Officer. In these roles, they assisted the Senior Commercial Manager in various tasks related to logistics, banking, and vendor coordination.

In 2003, Hossion joined Asian Paints as an Executive Commercial, where they were responsible for procurement planning for raw materials and packaging materials. After working at Asian Paints for five years, they joined Cavinkare Bangladesh Private Limited in 2008. At Cavinkare, they held several positions including Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Commercial Manager, Assistant Manager Supplychain Operation, and Assistant Commercial Manager.

In these roles, Hossion oversaw the complete operations in Bangladesh, including procurement, supply chain management, planning, logistics, distribution, and new product development. Mohammad Ismail was also involved in crisis management, recalls, and the development of new projects. Hossion played a key role in reducing supply chain costs, identifying cost-effective supply sources, and negotiating contracts. Mohammad Ismail then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in Finance from the same university, specializing in International Finance. This program lasted from 1998 to 1999.

Following their M.B.A, Mohammad Ismail Hossion further expanded their educational background by completing another Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in International Finance at the University of Chittagong, starting in 1999 and continuing until 2000.

In addition to their formal degrees, they have also acquired several certifications. In 2016, they obtained an Advance Diploma in Supplychain Management from OPEP - The Operations and Supply Chain Club - Indian Institute of Management, Raipur. In the same year, they also obtained a certification from Ramco Systems.

Continuing their commitment to professional development, Mohammad Ismail Hossion undertook various training programs. In 2021, they completed the "CII Advance Training Programme on Energy Efficiency & Cost Saving Techniques" provided by the Confederation of Indian Industry Western UP Zonal Office. Mohammad Ismail also completed the "Profit Enhancement Methodologies For Manufacturing Sector" program offered by the Confederation of Indian Industry in the same year.

Additionally, they recently obtained the "Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 QMS standard" certification from Cotecna Inspection in March 2022.
