Thomas Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Thomas started their career as an Analytical Chemist Team Lead at Hitachi Zosen Inova, where they managed a team of technicians and was responsible for various analysis processes. Thomas then joined Von Roll INOVA as a Plant Quality Manager and LIMs Data Manager, where they worked closely with regulators to address environmental concerns and implemented process improvements. After that, Thomas worked at The Provident Bank as a Sr. Oracle DBA Lead. Thomas then transitioned to CLEAR MEASURES as a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator. As a self-employed Consultant, they provided Oracle Database Solutions consulting services. Thomas then joined GE as a Sr. Technical Project Manager and Principle Consultant, managing IT projects in aviation, transportation, and energy. Thomas also worked at ABB as an Enterprise Vulnerability Management Technical Project Manager. Currently, they are employed at LTI as a Sr. Principal Project Management Consultant, working on IT project management at a Fortune 50 company specializing in various sectors.

Thomas Smith's education history begins in 1985 when they attended the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. Thomas studied Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician during their time there. After graduating from the center in 1986, Thomas went on to enroll in Youngstown State University in 1989. Thomas completed their studies at the university in 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, and Mathematics.
