Sri Rajah, PhD, PE, SE, GE, PEng, F. ASCE has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Sri currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at CDM Smith since 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Structural Engineer/Professional Associate at HDR from 2007 to 2015, and as a Senior Engineer at URS from 1998 to 2007. Further back, they served as a Civil Engineer at American Ventures, Inc. from 1996 to 1998. Sri also held academic positions, including being a Teaching Assistant/Pre-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Washington from 1988 to 1996, a Research Associate at the Asian Institute of Technology in 1988, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Peradeniya from 1985 to 1986.

Sri Rajah, PhD, PE, SE, GE, PEng, F. ASCE completed their education in a chronological manner. Sri began with their GCE-A/L at Nadeswara College from 1972 to 1979, where they focused on Applied Mathematics. Later, from 1981 to 1984, Rajah attended the University of Peradeniya, earning their B.Sc.Eng. (Hons) in Civil Engineering. Sri then opted to pursue further studies at the Asian Institute of Technology, where they obtained their M.Eng. in Civil Engineering (Structural) from 1986 to 1988. Finally, they attended the University of Washington, where they completed their Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from 1988 to 1996. Through their educational journey, Sri Rajah has gained expertise in multiple engineering disciplines, including geotechnical engineering and structural engineering.
