Thomas Schleier

Research Scientist at CDR-Life

Thomas Schleier has worked in the scientific field since 2000. Thomas began as a Laboratory Assistant at EMS-CHEMIE (Business Unit EMS-GRIVORY) in 2000. In 2008, they became a Research Biochemist at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, where they designed and cloned constructs for different expression systems and expressed secreted and membrane proteins in various expression systems. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Research Scientist at ESBATech, a Novartis company, where they designed and cloned constructs, expressed antibodies and antibody fragments in HEK and CHO cells, and purified proteins using various methods. Since 2017, they have been a Research Scientist at CDR-Life Inc.

Thomas Schleier obtained an Engineer's Degree in Biochemistry from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences between 2004 and 2007. Prior to this, they completed an apprenticeship as a Laboratory Assistant in Chemistry between 1997 and 2000.
