Joel LeMaoult has extensive experience in the field of immunology and research. Joel served as the Head of Laboratory - Immunology at CEA from 2012 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as an Ingenieur-Chercheur at CEA from 2002 to 2011. Joel also held the position of Assistant Professor of Pathology at Columbia University from 2000 to 2001. Before that, they were a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from 1998 to 2000 and a Research Fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College from 1995 to 1998.
Joel LeMaoult's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Biology, General from Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon (INA-PG) from 1990 to 1993. Joel then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Biology of ageing from University Toulouse III from 1994 to 1995. Afterwards, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from Université Paris Cité from 1995 to 1998. Later, they obtained a Habilitation a Diriger les Recherches (HDR) in Biology / Immunology from Université Paris Cité in 2010.
