Seenu Sarma

Seenu Sarma has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several decades. Seenu is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company since March 2021. Additionally, they are an Advisory Board Member at Brighter Children since July 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Seenu worked at Dean Foods from January 2018 to August 2019 as the VP and Chief Procurement Officer. Seenu also owned their own consulting business, Sarma Consulting Group, LLC, where they served as the Owner from April 2017 to December 2017. Seenu has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Hanley Industries Inc in November 2017.

Before entering the corporate world, Seenu had a noteworthy tenure at Deloitte, starting in July 1998 and ending in December 2016. During their time there, they held the position of Principal & Equity Owner, where they provided executive advice to global businesses on various strategic challenges, including supply chain management, procurement strategy, cost management, and trade promotions. Seenu was also the practice leader for Deloitte Consulting's direct materials strategy offering. In addition, Seenu held leadership roles in the Consumer Products vertical and was involved in Deloitte's MBA campus talent acquisition program.

Seenu's earlier experience includes working at NASA as a Flight Controller for the Space Shuttle Program from October 1989 to June 1996. In this role, they supported various flights in Mission Control, developed and executed flight procedures, and conducted astronaut crew training.

Seenu Sarma has an MBA in Finance & Corporate Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, obtained from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they have a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Seenu Sarma also possesses a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification obtained from APICS in September 2020.
