Christina Harris

Christina Harris, MD has an extensive work experience in various roles and institutions. Christina currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer at Cedars-Sinai since July 2022. Prior to this position, they held several roles at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Christina worked as an Assistant Designated Institution Official for UCLA GME from November 2020 to July 2022, Associate Vice Chair in the Dept of Medicine Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion from January 2020 to July 2022, and Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program from June 2013 to July 2022. Christina also worked as a General Internist and Clinican-Educator at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from July 2013 to July 2022. Before that, they held positions at Weill Cornell Medicine, including Program Director for the Internal Medicine/Primary Care Track, Assistant Medical Director for WCIMA, and Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program, from June 2006 to June 2013. Christina completed their Internal Medicine/Primary Care Track Residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital from May 2003 to May 2006.

Dr. Christina Harris obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California in 1999. Christina then went on to attend Harvard Medical School, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2003. In 2006, Dr. Harris obtained certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
