Thomas Goergen

Thomas Goergen is an experienced executive in the chemical industry, currently serving as the VP Head of Global Alliance Management at Covestro since September 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing Group Innovation Networks to facilitate open innovation and public funding. In addition, Goergen holds positions such as Member of the Program Council for Innovation at Cefic, Member of the Board of Directors at SusChem, and advisory roles with chemstars.nrw and EIT Climate-KIC. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Catalisti and Bayer Technology Services GmbH, with a scientific background in project management from Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH. Goergen earned a Diplom in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University.
