Sujit Ramachandra has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sujit started their career as an Intern at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 2015, followed by an Internship at Analog Devices in 2017. At Analog Devices, they worked as an Application Engineer from 2017 to 2019, where they gained experience in designing Analog signal chains, Power systems, and Energy Metering.

In 2018, Sujit worked as a Research Intern at JNCASR before joining Cisco as a Hardware Intern in 2020. During their time at Cisco, they designed misalignment tolerant spot size converters, edge couplers, and received awards for their innovative proposals in the field of silicon photonics.

Sujit then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2019 to 2021. During their time at the university, they worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant, focusing on the design and optimization of Edge and Vertical Grating Couplers, as well as GaN-AlN based Deep-UV Edge-emitting Lasers. Sujit also served as a Teaching Assistant from 2019 to 2020.

Currently, Sujit is employed at Celestial AI as a Photonics Design Engineer starting from 2023.

Sujit Ramachandra completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from RV College of Engineering, from the year 2013 to 2017. Sujit then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, starting in 2019 and graduating in 2021.
