Hongjun Zhang

Hongjun (David) Zhang's work experience includes roles such as Head of Medicinal Chemistry at Cellarity starting in 2023, Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Cerevel Therapeutics from 2019 to 2023, which involved leading projects to discover novel therapies for neurodegenerative and neurological disorders, and positions at Merck as Principal Scientist, Associate Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist from 2009 to 2019. Prior to that, Zhang was involved in postdoctoral research at The Scripps Research Institute and earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Emory University.

Hongjun (David) Zhang obtained a BSc and MSc degree in Chemistry from Fudan University.
