Navin Varadarajan

CSO at CellChorus

Navin Varadarajan began their career in 2007 as a Post-doc at the University of Texas at Austin. Navin then moved to MIT in 2008 to take on a Post-doc role. In 2010, they joined the University of Houston as an Assistant Professor, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012, and then to Professor in 2015. In 2019, they joined CellChorus as the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), where they are responsible for providing comprehensive, dynamic analysis of single cells using the company's TIMING platform.

Navin Varadarajan obtained their XII from DAV Senior Secondary School between 1981 and 1995, followed by a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Madras between 1995 and 1998. Navin then earned an MS in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 1998 and 2001, and completed their education with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin between 2001 and 2006.
