Walter Koch

Walter Koch is a seasoned scientific consultant and advisor with extensive experience in the diagnostics and pharmaceutical industries, specializing in infectious disease and oncology diagnostics. Currently serving as a Scientific Consultant for Sutro Biopharma, Inc. and Exelixis, as well as an Industry Advisor for SPARK at Stanford, Walter also operates Walter Koch Consulting, LLC. Previously, Walter held significant roles at Roche Molecular Systems, Inc., where contributions included leading teams in pharmacogenetics research, and at the FDA in the Laboratory of Immunochemistry. Educational qualifications include a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Environmental Health Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Memphis.
