Lokesh Kumar

Lokesh Kumar has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Lokesh is currently working as a Software Engineer at CELLINK since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Orexplore from December 2019 to January 2021 as a Programmer, where they designed and developed product features using C++, Qt, and Python. Lokesh also worked on computer vision algorithms and machine learning models for the mining industry.

Before Orexplore, Lokesh worked at Aristocrat from April 2017 to March 2019 as a Senior Engineer II. In this role, they were responsible for system requirements analysis, designing system architecture, and developing game engine components using C++, Qt, OpenGL, and Python. Lokesh also worked on prototyping the next generation gaming platform under the Innovation Department.

Prior to Aristocrat, Lokesh worked at HCL Technologies from January 2016 to April 2017 as a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they conducted system requirement analysis, designed system architecture, and managed tasks among teams of junior developers.

Lokesh's career started at the Weapons and Electronics Systems Engineering Establishment, Ministry of Defence, where they worked as a Software Engineer from October 2014 to January 2016. Here, they conducted requirement analysis, prepared system-level documents, and designed system architecture using IBM DOORS and IBM Rhapsody.

Before joining the Ministry of Defence, Lokesh worked at Faros Technologies from May 2012 to September 2014 as a Software Engineer. In this role, they designed system architecture, developed a C++ game engine with Python scripting support, and worked on shader programming in OpenGL and scientific parallel computing in CUDA and GPGPU.

Throughout their work experience, Lokesh has demonstrated skills in software development, system analysis, design, and agile methodology.

Lokesh Kumar obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University, completing their education in 2021. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2011.
