Prasad Palkar

Prasad Palkar has worked for a variety of companies since 1993. Prasad started their career at IBM as a Staff Programmer, then moved to Stratus Computer as a Software Engineer in 1995. In 1998, they became a Software Consultant at Auspex Systems, then a Senior Software Engineer at Shasta Networks in 1999. In 2001, they became a Senior Engineering Manager at Tahoe Networks, and in 2004 they founded Kalea Systems. From 2005 to 2017, they worked at Aruba Networks, where they held the roles of Vice President Software Engineering, Sr. Director, Software Engineering, and Vice President, Technology. Since 2017, they have been working at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as Vice President, Engineering, Cloud, AI and Security, and Vice President and GM, Security Products. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Celona as Senior Vice President Of Engineering.

Prasad Palkar has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from COEP Technological University from 1983 to 1987. Prasad then went on to pursue a M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1989 to 1991.
