Piotr Bielecki

Piotr Bielecki has been working in the scientific field since 2008. Piotr started as a Postdoc at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, and then became a Visiting Scientist at the Centro Nacional de Biotecnologia CSIC in 2009. In 2010, they moved to the Twincore Centre for Experimental and Clinical Infection Research as a Postdoc. In 2014, they joined the Yale School of Medicine, Immunobiology Department, as an Associate Research Scientist. Since 2019, they have been working at Celsius Therapeutics, first as a Senior Scientist, then as a Senior Scientist II, and currently as a Principal Scientist.

Piotr Bielecki obtained a PhD in Microbial Gene Expression from TU Braunschweig, Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Biology and Microbial Genetics from the University of Lodz between 1999 and 2004.
