Chitra Ajala

Chitra Ajala, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. From 2023 onwards, they have served as the Head of Lab Operations at Cemvita Factory Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Laboratory Operations Manager for the same company starting in 2021. Between 2019 and 2021, they worked at Qualitas Health as a Lab Researcher. Before that, from 2011 to 2019, they were self-employed, completing their Ph.D. During this time, they also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they taught various biology courses. Chitra also worked as a Teaching Instructor at the university, specifically teaching lab sections for Introduction to Biology. In 2017, they briefly served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at South Louisiana Community College, teaching Introduction to Biology. In 2015, they acted as a Guest Lecturer at the Biomedical Academy at Carencro Middle School. Lastly, from 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Private Tutor at a private academy.

Chitra Ajala, Ph.D. completed their education in a sequential manner as follows:

From 2006 to 2010, Chitra obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Chitra then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Human Resources Management/Marketing from the University School of Management Studies. Chitra completed this program from 2008 to 2011.

Finally, Chitra attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2011 to 2019, where they earned a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology.

Additionally, Chitra has obtained several certifications related to professional development and workplace skills.
