Eric Wakley

Eric Wakley serves as the VP of Health & Safety at Cenovus Energy since September 2021. Prior to this role, Eric held various leadership positions at Husky Energy, including VP of Process & Occupational Safety and Director of Process Safety and Reliability, from June 2017 to January 2022. Eric's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Shell, where responsibilities included serving as the Process Safety Global Programme Manager and Technical Safety Team Leader. Earlier career roles include positions at Vectra Group Ltd, Petrofac, EcoShield, KBR / Granherne, and BOMEL Consultants, focusing on safety engineering and risk management. Eric's academic background includes an MSc in Safety, Risk, and Reliability Engineering Management from Cranfield University and a BSc in Metallurgy from The University of Manchester.
