Sherilyn Fahlstrom

Sherilyn (Spiller) Fahlstrom has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sherilyn currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Sunflower Health Plan at Centene Corporation, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President of Operations at Sunflower Health Plan from April 2020 to February 2023. Before joining Centene Corporation, Sherilyn had various roles at 3M, UnitedHealth Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Centurions Leadership Program, Health Midwest, and IBM. Their roles in these organizations ranged from program management leader to compliance officer, from director to administrator. Sherilyn Fahlstrom's education history includes a range of academic achievements. Sherilyn first attended Parkway West Senior High School from 1981 to 1984 and earned their high school diploma. Following this, from 1984 to 1986, they attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and pursued studies in engineering. Seeking further education, they then enrolled at Fontbonne University from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Computer Science. Finally, Sherilyn attended the University of Missouri-Columbia again from 1993 to 1995, earning their Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree.
