Natasha M.

Natasha M. has a diverse work experience in the field of health policy and public policy. Natasha is currently working as the Director of Health Policy at the Center for American Progress, where they engage with government officials and provides expertise on health care cost containment policy reforms. Prior to this, they worked at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where they held various roles such as Senior Public Policy Analyst, Lead Regulatory and Compliance Analyst, and Senior Regulatory and Compliance Analyst. In these roles, they managed the implementation of Affordable Care Act plans, developed strong relationships with regulators, and represented the organization's interests. Natasha M. also has experience working in government agencies, including the Mayor's Office of Information Technology and the DC Department of Health Care Finance. Additionally, they served as a Barbara Jordan Health Policy Scholar in the Office of Representative Charles Rangel in the U.S. House of Representatives. Natasha M. began their education journey in 2009 at Howard University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Science. Natasha completed their undergraduate studies in 2013, graduating magna cum laude. Following their bachelor's degree, Natasha pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University. From 2013 to 2015, they completed a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree in the field of Health Policy.
