Marla Dissin Phr

Marla Dissin, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in human resources, working in various leadership roles across different industries. In their current position as Senior Director Human Resources at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines, they play a crucial role in providing innovative cell and gene therapy services. Prior to this, Marla held positions such as Director of Human Resources at both Marinus Pharma and Genomind, where they developed HR processes and strategies to improve employee recruitment, performance management, and onboarding. Marla also served as the Director of Human Resources/Human Resources Business Partner at the WIRB-Copernicus Group, where they provided strategic direction and management of HR services. Marla has a strong background in HR operations and has been instrumental in driving HR initiatives to support business objectives.

Marla Dissin, PHR, SHRM-CP has a Bachelor's degree in Labor and Employment Relations from Penn State University. Marla also has a minor in Spanish from Universidad de Salamanca. Marla obtained their Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in May 2006. In March 2015, they achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Along with these certifications, Marla also holds the Certified Analyst, Predictive Index® certification from The Predictive Index, which they obtained in May 2008.
