Chitra Nagarajan is an Independent Consultant with extensive experience in gender issues, conflict, and macroeconomic policy, active in various organizations since June 2016. Current roles include researching gendered dimensions of disengagement and reintegration at the International Organisation for Migration, producing protection briefings at the Center for Civilians in Conflict, and leading policy analysis at Safety4Sisters focused on the rights of migrant gender-based violence survivors in Greater Manchester. Additionally, Chitra has contributed to women's rights advocacy with FEMNET, developed a safeguarding policy framework for Urgent Action Fund-Africa, and conducted research on COVID-19's impacts on gender relations with Education as a Vaccine. Educational credentials include an MSc in Social Research Skills and an LLM in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice.
