Tanese Horton has more than 20 years of work experience in various roles. Tanese started their career as an Executive Counsel/Mentor Counselor Coordinator at Camp Nkyin & Careerworks Inc, where they were responsible for program management and development. Tanese also worked as an Admissions Coordinator at Cleveland State University, where they coordinated admissions activities. Later, they joined The George Washington University as an Assistant Director/Undergraduate Admissions, where they managed programs and conducted marketing and public relations activities. Currently, Tanese is working as the Director of Family and Community Engagement at The Centers for Families and Children, where they oversee the coordination of resources between schools, parents, and community providers.
Tanese Horton earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Marketing from Eastern Michigan University in 1998. Tanese later pursued a Masters of Educational Leadership degree from the same university, which was completed in 2000.
