Stephanie Rae Gass

Stephanie Rae Gass has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Stephanie Rae currently works at the Center for Internet Security as the Director of Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Information Security Auditor at the same company.

Before joining the Center for Internet Security, Stephanie worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as the Information Security Compliance, Government, and ITAR Lead. Stephanie Rae held this position from August 2017 to February 2019.

Previous to GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Stephanie spent a significant portion of their career at SEFCU, where they held multiple roles. Stephanie Rae started as the Lead Service Professional in April 2008 and transitioned to the role of Quality Control Specialist in May 2010. From October 2011 to August 2017, they served as an Internal Auditor at SEFCU.

Stephanie Rae Gass completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Cybersecurity from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science between the years 2017 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Economic Crime Investigation from Utica University, although the specific years of attendance were not provided.

In addition to their academic degrees, Stephanie has obtained several certifications related to their field. Stephanie Rae obtained the GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC) from GIAC Certifications in January 2021, the GIAC Law of Data Security & Investigations (GLEG) certification in August 2020, and the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer certification from ISACA in July 2020. Additionally, they acquired the GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) certification in December 2019 and the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) certification in October 2019. Prior to their advanced degrees, Stephanie obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification in August 2016 and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in November 2015.
