Angel Melguizo

Angel Melguizo serves as a Board Member at the Center for Latin America Convergence since November 2023 and as a Partner at ARGIA Green, Tech & Economics since June 2023. Melguizo is also a Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Inter-American Dialogue and a Visiting Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, both since January 2023. Additionally, Melguizo has been an Advisor on AI & Ethics at UNESCO since May 2022. Previous roles include Board Member at Universidad del Rosario, Vice President of Economic, External & Regulatory Affairs at VRIO corp, and Member of the Latin American Policy Group at GSMA. Melguizo held the Vice President position for External and Regulatory Affairs at AT&T VRIO Latin America until November 2021, focusing on regulatory strategy and digital transformation within several Latin American markets. Melguizo earned a Ph.D. in Public Economics and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
