Community Engagement Coordinator, COMPSTAT for Justice at Center for Policing Equity

Emma Embleton joined the Center for Policing Equity (CPE) in January 2021. Emma brings five years of administrative experience, two years of research experience, and ample knowledge of the criminal justice system. She assists COMPSTAT for Justice (C4J), a program developed in 2020, to reimagine public safety by guiding law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve to collaboratively improve equity in policing. Prior to joining CPE, Emma worked as an Administrative Coordinator for the Mockingbird Society in Seattle, and as a Editor for Making Amends, a podcast which amplifies the voices of adults in custody at Oregon State Penitentiary. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Writing and Law, Societies, & Justice from the University of Washington. Emma is also a live music enthusiast and a snowboarder.
