Lisa M. Brown Cfre

Lisa M. Brown, CFRE has extensive work experience in the field of philanthropy and fundraising. Lisa M. is currently serving as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Center for Transforming Lives since November 2021. Prior to this, Lisa held various roles at Texas Health Resources, including Principal Gift Officer, Director of Development, Donor Relations Manager, Operations Office Lead in the Department of Operations, and Prospect Relations Coordinator. Lisa M. was also a Board Member at the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-IHQ) from December 2011 to December 2021. Additionally, Lisa served as a Board Member at the Aledo Education Foundation from 2014 to July 2017. Lisa M. has also been involved in the THR Mentor Program as a mentee in 2010. Before entering the philanthropy field, Lisa worked as a Financial Coordinator at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center from March 2006 to September 2007, where they specialized in compiling financial reports and monitoring deposits. Prior to that, they had experience in property management at Century 21 Western Realty from 1998 to 2004.

Lisa M. Brown, CFRE has a diverse education history. Lisa M. attended Tarrant County College from 2020 to 2024, where they studied Business Administration and Management, focusing on General studies. In the past, Lisa also attended Tarrant County College in 1986 and 1987; however, the specific field of study is unknown. Prior to their college education, Lisa attended Keller High School from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, Lisa has obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2017, they earned a CFRE Certification from CFRE International, indicating their expertise in fundraising. Furthermore, in 2021, Lisa obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, demonstrating their commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
