Tom Kasprzak

Tom Kasprzak is a seasoned editor and graphics strategist with extensive experience in various writing and editing roles spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Senior Editor and Graphics Strategist at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities since August 2017, Kasprzak has previously held positions such as Deputy Editor in Chief at Tax Analysts, where direct oversight of news and investigative coverage was provided. Recognized for editorial excellence, Kasprzak was a finalist for a Society of Professional Journalists Dateline Award in 2016. Additional experience includes freelance editing for international development, legislative summary writing, and teaching college composition at the University of Maryland. Kasprzak holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree from Providence College.
