Jonathan Ukena

Jonathan Ukena has extensive experience in the field of data strategy and consulting, with a focus on big data and data privacy. Jonathan is currently the Head of Data Enablement at CENTOGENE. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Strategy Consultant at Ukena Consulting and PwC Deutschland, where they specialized in data business strategy. Jonathan also served as a Data Business Strategy Consultant at Volkswagen AG, advising on the setup of a groupwide strategy for data-driven businesses and innovations. Earlier in their career, Jonathan held various roles at Telefonica NEXT and Telefonica Germany, including Head of Big Data Privacy Services and Senior Product Manager, where they developed and implemented data anonymization solutions and contributed to the company's data analytics and monetization initiatives. Jonathan began their career as a Working Student at Telefonica Germany and a Student Assistant at the Research Group wi-mobile, University of Augsburg. Jonathan also has experience as the Owner-Manager of Kontrastpunkt Communications & Consulting and held marketing and project management roles at Ebbinghaus Team GmbH.

Jonathan Ukena has a Master of Business Administration (German Diploma - Dipl. Kfm.) degree in Business Administration/ Business informatics from the University of Augsburg, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the same university, from 2007 to 2011. Jonathan also holds a degree in Informations- und Telekommunikationssystem-Kaufmann (IT Systemkaufmann) from Städtisches Kaufmännisches Berufsbildungszentrum Würzburg, which they completed from 2004 to 2007.
