Roberto Semprebene has had a long and varied career in the video game industry. Roberto started in 2009 as a Contributor for SilenzioinSala.com, and then in 2011 they co-founded A Little BIT, where they were responsible for marketing, communication, PR activities and events management. In 2015, they became a Contributor for CINECONOMY.IT. In 2016, they joined Storm in a Teacup as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, and also worked as a Creative Center - Researcher for LUISS Business School and as a Teaching Assistant for LUISS. In 2017, they became Scientific Director for the Master in Web Comunication & Marketing for Videogames at Napier. In 2019, they were hired as an Adjunct Professor at Istituto Europeo di Design, teaching video game theory and supervising multi-course team thesis projects. In 2021, they joined Luiss Guido Carli University as an Adjunct Professor.

Roberto Semprebene's education history began with their high school studies at Liceo Classico "F. Vivona" from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Classical Studies. Roberto then went on to earn a BA in Political Science from Luiss Guido Carli University from 2001 to 2004. In 2005 to 2007, they obtained an MSc in Political, Economical and Institutional Communication from the same university. Roberto then went on to earn a PhD in Modern Literature from Università degli Studi di Siena in 2007 to 2010. In 2008, they obtained an MSc in Management of Cinema and Television from LUISS BUSINESS SCHOOL, Rome. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Agile with Atlassian Jira (2022), Business of Games and Entrepreneurship (2020), Financial Markets (with Honors) (2020), Initiating and Planning Projects (2016), and Gamification (2015).
