Cynthia Cañas

Cynthia Cañas has extensive work experience as an Occupational Therapist. Cynthia started their career in 2001 at Baylor Scott & White Health and worked there until 2022. Cynthia also worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they have experience in the education sector, having worked as an Occupational Therapist at Hurst-Euless-Bedford I.S.D. from 2006 to 2010. Cynthia has worked at several other hospitals, including THR Presbyterian Hospital of Flower Mound, St. Paul University Hospital Dallas, and HARRIS METHODIST HEB. Most recently, they have been employed as a Community Liaison at the Centre for Neuro Skills since 2023.

Cynthia Cañas attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas from 1992 to 1996, during which they did not receive any degree or pursue any specific field of study. Following this, they enrolled at Texas Woman's University from 1997 to 2001 and earned their Bachelor's degree in Science with a focus on Occupational Therapy.
