Laura Shean has a long and varied career in the financial services industry. Laura began their career in 1980 as an Operations/Lending/Sales Officer at U.S. Bank as part of their work/college program. After completing the program and working in all areas of banking, they went on to work as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch in 1994. Laura then became an Independent Consultant in 1999, providing 401k training and management to companies and managing over $100 million in assets. In 2017, they joined PlanNow, LLC as a Planning Consultant, helping to create the "My Life Organizer" do-it-yourself-help book. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships in US & Latin American Markets at CentSai, a SaaS solution providing financial education/literacy.
Laura Shean attended Lewis & Clark College from 1981 to 1982, studying Business Administration. Laura then attended Southern Oregon University from 1983 to 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology.
