Ibrahem Amer

Ibrahem Amer has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ibrahem started their career as a Frontend Developer in 2009 and worked in that role until 2014. Ibrahem then transitioned to a Full-stack Developer role until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Software Engineer at DigifyLabs from April 2016 to August 2016. Afterwards, they joined Code Mania as a Software Engineer from August 2014 to October 2016, where they focused on producing intelligent and creative digital solutions.

In 2016, Ibrahem became a Software Engineer at Paymob, where they were responsible for the whole development cycle of electronic payment acceptance solutions. Ibrahem worked there until June 2017. Ibrahem then returned to Code Mania, this time as a Product Owner, from June 2017 to June 2018. As a Product Owner, they contributed to creating a learning community and developing skills and experiences within the organization.

In 2018, Ibrahem joined CEPRES as a Product Owner and played a key role in providing powerful analytics for private markets. Ibrahem worked there until June 2020. Afterwards, they became a Product Management Consultant at IA Consultancy from July 2020 to January 2021. Ibrahem managed multiple product teams focused on e-commerce and microfinance solutions.

In 2020, Ibrahem also joined nOps.io as a Product Manager, reimagining cloud management for complex organizations and ensuring continuous compliance. Ibrahem worked there until March 2021. Currently, they are the Country Operations Manager at CEPRES, leading the platform for private markets and supporting clients in making efficient decisions with trillions of dollars in assets.

Ibrahem Amer has a diverse educational background with a focus on technology and business. Ibrahem obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer and Information Sciences from the Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences at Mansoura University in 2014.

To further their knowledge and skills, Ibrahem pursued various certifications and programs. In 2018, they completed a specialization in Algorithms and Data Structures from UC San Diego. Ibrahem also obtained certifications in IT Project Management from Coursera and Advanced Algorithms and Complexity from the University of California San Diego.

In 2019, Ibrahem enrolled in the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and completed the Agile Development Specialization. Ibrahem also obtained certifications in Agile Expert Specialization and Agile Development in Practice (Project-centered Course) from the same institution. Additionally, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance.

In 2020, Ibrahem obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

In 2021, Ibrahem attended Product School and completed the Product Leader Certificate. Ibrahem also obtained the Principles of Private Equity & Venture Capital certification from Università Bocconi.

Ibrahem furthered their education in 2022 by completing the Product Executive Program from Product School and the FinTech Innovations Specialization from the University of Michigan.

Currently, Ibrahem is pursuing the Oxford Executive Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with an expected completion date in 2023.
