Hao Wang

Hao Wang has extensive experience in quality, reliability, and validation roles in various companies. Hao has held positions such as Director, Senior Manager, and Quality Manager at Cepton, where they led design validation, supplier quality engineering, and established testing processes. Prior to that, they worked at Luminus Devices as a Senior Application and customer quality engineer, focusing on failure analysis and driving corrective actions. Hao also has academic research experience from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Tsinghua University.

Hao Wang earned a Bachelor's degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1999. Hao then completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the same field in 2008 from the same university. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Certified automotive functional safety professional from SGS-TÜV Saar.
