Joshua Alan

Joshua Alan has a diverse work experience. Joshua is currently working as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at Cercle since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an SDE, Storage Gateway from July 2022 to January 2023. Joshua also worked as a Software Engineer - Platform, Internal Tools at Centaur Labs from December 2021 to July 2022. Joshua has teaching experience as a Cohort Lead Instructor and Capstone Lead Engineer at App Academy, where they guided students through their projects and maintained full-stack applications. Before transitioning to software engineering, they worked as a Route Manager at Asurion and as a Lead Technician and Technician Trainer at Aptive Environmental, where they focused on pest mitigation and training new technicians. Joshua started their career at Six Flags, where they held roles as Operations Dispatch Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, and Operations Team Member, managing communications and operations within the park.

Joshua Alan attended App Academy from 2020 to 2021 and obtained a degree in Software Engineering, with a field of study in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, Joshua received a High School Diploma from Christian Brothers Academy. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Science - BS at New Jersey Institute of Technology, with a field of study in General Engineering.
