John Robinson

John Robinson is the Managing Director at Cerebro Capital. Prior to joining Cerebro Capital, John was the Managing Director at Fifth Third Business Capital from December 2017 to September 2021. There, they were responsible for ABL and ABL stretch loans to lower middle market businesses. John has also served as the Director at Parkway Capital Investors from January 2006 to December 2011, where they were in charge of sourcing and underwriting mezzanine investments in change of control transactions. Before Parkway Capital, John was a Principal at McShane Group from January 1995 to December 2005, where they worked as a turnaround consultant.

John Robinson has a MBA in Finance from Lehigh University and a B.S. in Economics from Penn State University.

They work with James Paterson - Managing Director, Michele Hsu - VP, Marketing, and Kevin Gaughan - Director, Lender Relations. Their manager is Matthew Bjonerud, Founder & CEO.
