Kathy Shackelford has worked in the education industry for over 30 years. Kathy began their career in 1990 as a Senior Account Manager for McGraw-Hill Higher Education. In this role, they managed adoptions for 15 institutions and had a revenue base of $4.1 million. Kathy then moved to Leverage LLC in 2013 as a Publishing Consultant & Project Specialist, where they provided freelance-based support for Educational Publishers in the Higher Education market. In 2015, Kathy joined Elsevier as an Education Sales Consultant, where they managed accounts for 25+ university and college programs across the Southeast region and achieved sales of over $2.3 million. Most recently, in 2019, Kathy joined Cerego as a Senior Strategic Account Manager. In this role, they have been helping people practice what they want to know and helping them remember it longer with Cerego's groundbreaking learning engine.
Kathy Shackelford obtained a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Alabama between 1978 and 1981. Her degree was a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with a Minor in Human Resource Management and Psychology.
