Julián García Pardiñas

CERN Senior Research Fellow at CERN

Julián García Pardiñas currently serves as a CERN Senior Research Fellow since October 2022 and co-coordinates the CERN Inter-experimental Machine Learning Working Group, managing the machine learning initiatives of a community comprising 10,000 international researchers. Previously, Julián held an EU Marie Curie Individual Fellowship at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from October 2020 to September 2022 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich from February 2018 to September 2020. Scholarly contributions began with a PhD grant fellowship and research assistance roles at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela from October 2014 to January 2018 and continued with a summer research position at GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH in August 2013. Julián also received a research collaboration grant from the Spanish Government from October 2012 to June 2013. Educational credentials include a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics and a Master's degree in Nuclear and Particle Physics from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution.
