Deacon Steve Dixon

Deacon Steve Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Deacon Steve is currently working at Certrec Corporation as a Sr. Project Manager, where they are developing training modules for CERTREC Academy and is a subject matter expert in licensing, NRC inspection management, radiation protection, environmental issues, and licensed operator medical reporting. In 2020, they were ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth and has served in various pastoral and charitable roles within the diocese. Prior to this, Deacon Dixon worked at Luminant Power for many years, where they held positions such as Consulting Licensing Analyst, Sr. Nuclear Instructor, and Chemistry Lead Technician, gaining expertise in license basis documents, technical specifications, environmental and radiation protection, and nuclear training. Additionally, they served as the RCIA Director at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church from 2013 to 2016. Deacon Dixon also has experience in the United States Navy, where they served as an ELT (E6) aboard a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine and was responsible for primary and secondary chemistry sampling and analysis.

Deacon Steve Dixon attended Kilgore High School from 1976 to 1978 but did not receive a degree or pursue any specific field of study during this time.
