Wentian Wang

Wentian Wang is a senior research scientist at CFD Research Corporation, specializing in medicinal chemistry with a focus on antibacterial and antiviral drug discovery since October 2021. Prior experience includes a tenure at UT Southwestern Medical Center from April 2013 to September 2021, where Wentian held roles as an instructor and postdoctoral researcher, concentrating on the development of therapeutics for colorectal cancer, narcolepsy, and glioblastoma, leading to the establishment of Barricade Therapeutics and Lydian Neurosciences. Wentian's academic foundation includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Florida International University and a Master's degree from East China University of Science and Technology, with a background in synthesis and characterization of complex chemical compounds.
