Elizabeth Kukka

Elizabeth Kukka, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Elizabeth currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Operations at ChainSafe Systems since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Advisor at EdgeMode, a fast-growing infrastructure provider specializing in cryptocurrency mining, rendering farms, AI, and deep learning applications.

Elizabeth also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Digital Custody Trust Company from May 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they worked as the VP of Operations at Pngme from June 2021 to March 2022.

Their previous experience includes working as a Principal at DFG, where they managed DFG hedgefund LPs and played a crucial role in launching the Digital Custody Trust Company and Matrix Exchange. Elizabeth also held the position of Executive Director at Ethereum Classic Labs from August 2018 to June 2021.

Elizabeth's background also includes working at Plug and Play Tech Center as the Global Head of Programs and Operations - Insurtech. In this role, they sourced and vetted startups for the accelerator program and developed programs and services for program startups and Fortune 500 partners. Elizabeth also served as a Program Manager, where they managed the day-to-day operations of a startup-facing program.

Earlier in their career, Elizabeth worked at Cisco as a Design Strategy facilitator, facilitating design sprints for cross-functional teams globally. Elizabeth began their professional journey as a Teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District, where they designed student-centered lessons, educational games, and integrated observation to inform lesson and project design.

Elizabeth Kukka, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Teaching Credential in Multiple Subjects from California State University, Monterey Bay from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from San Francisco State University, earned from 2002 to 2005. Elizabeth also has a Teaching Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Their high school education was completed at Archbishop Mitty High School, and they attended St. Martin of Tours for their earlier education.
