Monika Punia

Monika Punia has a comprehensive work experience in the field of Human Resources, spanning over more than a decade. Monika'smost recent role was as a Human Resources Coordinator at Chair-man Mills Corp. (CMMC) since February 2022. In this position, they were responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, including screening, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding. Monika also ensured that job descriptions were updated and evaluated, planned and delivered training for new hires and current employees, handled employment-related inquiries and concerns, and maintained workplace health and safety documents. Monika also maintained an accurate and up-to-date employee database and handled payroll tasks, such as setting up new hires in the payroll software.

Prior to their role at CMMC, Monika worked at Amazon Fulfillment Services, Inc. from 2016 to 2022. During their time there, they served as a Human Resource Assistant from September 2018 to February 2022, and as a Trainer from September 2016 to December 2018. Before that, Monika worked as a Payroll and HR Assistant at A&A Trading from July 2015 to August 2016, and as an HR and Payroll Coordinator at JNS INSTRUMENTS LIMITED from July 2011 to December 2014.

Monika Punia completed their Master's degree in Human Resources from Kurukshetra University in 2010. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in HR, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, at Sheridan College from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) certification from HRPA Toronto (Human Resources Professional Association). Monika then went on to attain a Postgraduate Diploma in Payroll Compliance Practitioner at Sheridan College from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, in 2019, they acquired the Payroll Certification from The Canadian Payroll Association.
