Stephen Waguespack

Stephen Waguespack currently serves as Special Counsel at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Stephen was a candidate for Louisiana Governor from March to November 2023 and has significant experience in leadership positions, including President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry from September 2013 to April 2023. Stephen's background includes serving as Special Counsel at Jones Walker LLP and roles within the Office of Governor Bobby Jindal, where Stephen worked as Chief of Staff and contributed to policy development. Earlier experience includes positions related to legislative affairs with Congressman Joe Barton and as Vice President at The Alpine Group, Inc. Stephen holds a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University.
