Adina Abeles currently serves as a Senior Research Science Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since January 2020, having progressed through roles as Research Science Manager and Quantitative Research Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as a Goldman Graduate Fellow at Stanford University's Woods Institute for the Environment and as Director of Education and Training at the Center for Ocean Solutions, where Adina led the development of the Monterey Area Research Institutions’ Network for Education. Additionally, Adina was the California Program Manager at COMPASS, where strategic communications were established to connect marine science with policymakers and the public. Adina holds a Ph.D. in Communication Theory and Research from Stanford University, a Master of Environmental Science and Management from UC Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a concentration in Ecology from Cornell University.
