Irina Gerry

CMO at Change Foods

Irina Gerry is the current Chief Marketing Officer at Change Foods. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of aello, inventing a kitchen appliance that provided an elegant under-the-counter drying solution for large cookware and stemware. However, the company was sunsetted due to unforeseen competing patent publication.

Gerry then pursued a career at Danone, first as Senior Brand Manager for Plant-Based Innovation where they led So Delicious plant-based cheese platform launch, including shreds, slices and cream cheese, as part of newly formed plant-based acceleration team. Irina then became Brand Manager for Silk, leading multiple pillars of Silk brand restage including equity re-positioning, new campaign development, packaging redesign and PR strategy. During their time as Brand Manager, Silk brand sales increased by 4% and Silk Almond brand sales increased by 13%. Irina also successfully led 2018 Progress is Perfection campaign creative development, featuring Michael Phelps, which delivered 190M Earned Media Impressions, 19M Social Impressions, 1M Social Engagements, plus earned full-page placement in People Magazine and appearance on the Today Show.

Irina Gerry has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BA in Economics from Macalester College, and an Intl. Baccalaureate in Mathematics, Economics, English, Spanish from the United World College of the Atlantic.

Irina Gerry reports to David Bucca, Founder & CEO. They work with Junio Te'o - Co-founder & CTO, Sacha Baker - VP, and Luis Espinoza - COO.
