Janet Daijo, PMP, CSM, SAFe 5 Agilist

Janet Daijo has a diverse range of work experience in program management, project management, technical support leadership, and research. Janet is currently a Program Manager at Change Foods, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Program Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Genetic Sciences Division from June 2021 to August 2022. From April 2018 to May 2021, Janet was a Software Development Project Manager at ROCHE TISSUE DIAGNOSTICS, where they led cross-functional teams and applied Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall project management approaches. Janet also has experience as a Co-Leader and Facilitator at ProMatch, a career resource center, and as a Technical Support and Project Management Leader at Molecular Devices. Janet began their career as a Research Associate at Telik, Inc. in 1996. Janet holds certifications as a PMP, CSM, and SAFe 5 Agilist.

Janet Daijo holds a Master's degree in Cell, Molecular, Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara. Janet also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University. In addition to their formal education, Janet has obtained several certifications including the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute, the SAFe Agilist Certified (SA) certification from Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training, and the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Mountain Goat Software.
